A STATE OF MIND trailerIt sports the most boring voice-over ever heard, but these two Quicktime trailers for A STATE OF MIND feature gob-stopping footage of North Korea's mass game, propaganda spectacles that are so humoungous you can't even think about them without getting dizzy.

This is a very pleasant film. I was impressed by the detailed portrayal of everyday lives of teenage students in North Korea, rather than the dizzy mass game scenes. It focuses on "ordinary North Korean people", avoiding any political interpretations on the collective activities. The British director had Q&A; session with audience in Pusan Int'l film festival last year. He said, "I visited North Korea 11 times for this film, but this is my first trip to South Korea." The audience laughed and applauded.
