WE ARE ALL CARTOONS NOW
The latest Hong Kong trend? Turning actors into cartoons. First up is Andy Lau, who has been turned into a comic book character in Chung Meng-shun's ALL ABOUT LOVE, which is also a radio play (yes, they still do those in Hong Kong) and an album.
Then, in 2007, Edward Yang (YI YI) will release THE WIND, his animated, martial arts feature film which has a main character modeled on Jackie Chan and stunts designed by Jackie's stunt team.

Edward Yang is making an animated martial arts film? He's a great director, but I never would've expected that project. At least he's working again (or will be in 2 years.)
