BLOODY TIE ON DVD

Everyone's releasing DVDs these days, even video distributors like Genius. Mostly they've been sticking to bottom-of-the-barrel J-horror flicks, but now they're upping their game to bring the well-received Korean gangster flick BLOODY TIE to US video store shelves on February 20.

So Genius is working with both Weinstein AND Tartan?

hmmm, yeh, spotted this listing a couple of weeks before xmas. was surprised too by it, as the recent online discussions had revealed a load of j-horror / shock-horror-it's-foreign stuff like 'shutter' coming too, but no listing of 'bloody tie(s)' in there. it's a pretty good gangster film, but would still love tartan to put their efforts into things not getting subbed releases elsewhere...

Genius is a DVD division of Weinstein. At the same time, Genius also has DVD distribution deal with Tartan, so all Tartan DVDs are released by Genius.
