SHILPA SHETTY ON BRIT TV...AND IN LOVE WITH FACE?
Big time B-list Bollywood actress, Shilpa Shetty, has been on Channel 4's Celebrity Big Brother and no one told me?!? Now she's rumored to be one of the contenders for the final two and I had to find out from a Chinese website? Which also told me that she's been wooing 61-year-old Dirk Benedict (Face from The A-Team) on the show?
"Although I can't pronounce her name, which is a hindrance, I've been flirting with her," says Benedict.
Shetty was paid more than anyone else on the show (around half a million US dollars) in order to suck in the South Asian audience since producers didn't think that Jermaine Jackson, Ken Russell and Leo Sayer probably wouldn't appeal to this particular demographic which is increasingly valuable and vital in the UK.
See Shilpa go toe to toe with Jade Goody a previous Big Brother contestant and having the presence of mind to say, "This may be good TV but I don't want to do this."
Still...Dirk Benedict. He's looking awful...strange in these episodes.

there's trouble though - leo sayer and ken russell (and that other bloke from that band i hadn't heard of) walked out the house. now there's real trouble brewing with 200 or so complaints to ofcom about racist treatment towards shilpa shetty - with jade goody's mum calling her (allegedly) "the indian one..." because she cant pronounce her name (or probably remember it) and jo omeara aand jade goody also getting entangled with the issue by making fun of shilpas accept. hey, when she first met dirk benedict, shilpa said herself that the way she pronounced his name sounded like "duck". odd tangled mess this is, and the viewing figures are looowww...

I'm pulling for the Faceman. Never mind that I'm in the US and I'd never, ever watch this even if it was playing here. But he dubbed Anthony Wong in Artisan's BLACK MASK, which has to count for something. Go Face!

As of today, there have been 7,600 complaints to ofcom over suggested racism in the Celebrity Big Brother household, second only to the 8,000+ made to ofcom after the television showing of Jerry Springer the Opera - but 55,000 complaints had been logged about the musical to the BBC BEFORE transmission.

No, there have now been more than 21'000 complaints to the television regulator in the UK, OFCOM. Highest ever
